Registration Dates:

Sunday, September 20, 2015
5:00 - 7:00 PM
Sunday, October 4, 2015
5:00 - 7:00 PM


Sunday’s 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm

30 minute lesson / 30 minute practice

Session #1: 9 Weeks From October 18, 2015 - December 20, 2015 = $90.00

Session #2: 9 Weeks From January 3, 2016 – March 20, 2015 = $90.00

Session #1 and Session #2: (18 Weeks) Price Break = $175.00

In addition, $12.00 Insurance / USFS Fee

Rules & Regulations for the Basic Skills Program:

Our Basic Skills Program will start October 18th.  The annual Ice Show and year-end

 banquet is scheduled in March 13, 2016.  Please note there may be cancellations due to weather or hockey

 tournament conflicts.  You will be contacted prior to your student’s lesson time’s if / when a

 cancellation occurs.


 In order to have lessons run smoothly and allow parents / guardians and skaters to be less frazzled;

 please arrive 15 minutes prior to lesson time.  This will allow time needed for lesson preparation

(i.e. asking questions, tying skates, finding that missing mitten, etc.).


US Figure Skating mandates all children 6 years old and Younger MUST wear a helmet!

NO helmet, NO ice, NO EXCEPTIONS.  Please make sure your child does not eat or chew gum while

 on the ice.  As listed with registration, an assigned 30-minute lesson time will be followed by a

 30-minute practice time for each student enrolled.


Candy Bar Fund Raising Is Required:

If you are new to the program, Salmon River Skating School and Salmon River Ice Hockey Association

a volunteer youth organization.  Our parents are asked to maintain the rink, work the snack bar, clean

and fund raise where applicable.  Salmon River Skating School families are required to sell candy to help

fund and keep our Association running.


Fund Raising: 1 Box of fund raising per family is required.

Option #1:  Purchase a box a candy for $45.00 and sell each candy bar for $1.50 each making

it no cost to you;


Option #2:  Utilize the Buy Out option and write a check to SRIHA for $28.00.


We will have a MANDATORY meeting regarding parent commitments and fund raising

 requirements date TBD
